Humpty Dumpty & some astrology

Humpty-Dumpty sat on a wall,

Humpty-Dumpty had a great fall.

All the king's horses and all the king's men

Couldn't put Humpty together again

Seriously. How was this ever a popular nursery rhyme? One explanation could be its simplicity. It’s so easy to remember. I dunno.

For those who like astrology, there's an asteroid named Humpty Dumpty, which possesses the number 17627. Mark Andrew Holmes says one meaning of Humpty in the natal chart is irretrievable change. I'm inclined to agree with the theory but whether it holds up in practice is another matter. Another possibility is that it'll highlight an area of life where we can't rest on our laurels lest trouble befalls us. Maybe there's a need to be engaged in an activity for the same reason; sitting on a wall implies a lack of participation. The fall comes after, implying that if we don't sit on the wall to begin with, there'll be nowhere to fall from...

It may also be an indicator that if there is a break in that particular area of life that there's really no point in trying to put things back to how they were because no matter how hard you try, and even if you have help from every man and his dog...it just ain't gonna happen.
