Welcome!
My name is Quinn. I read the world in terms of pattern and symbol — an instinct I've spent 30+ years exploring and analysing through tarot and astrology, and increasingly through art and myth as symbolic systems in their own right.
Patchwork Soul offers readings, mentoring, and writing.
Sessions are available in person or over the phone for those living further afield.
Personal Consultations
Mentoring
-
Mentoring is available for all stages of development.
For those in the early stages of learning about symbolism, tarot, or astrology, I can help with the bits you are struggling with, and recommend further learning resources to strengthen your knowledge base.
For those who are taking the leap into professional practice, sessions are tailored to your individual needs but will likely focus on confidence, personal development, and building resources.
If you are already working in a related field, these sessions can be used for personal or professional reasons.

You can use this service regularly, sporadically, or as a one-off. -

New Stuff!
9th August 2026
I’m still applying the finishing touches to edits I’ve made around the site — I’ve probably broken a few links here and there, and I still have text to add on some of the consultation pages. I should have it all checked and finished by the end of this upcoming week, and I appreciate your patience in the meantime. One thing I completed was the page for the decks I need to rehome: Subscription is free, and I rarely send emails. Although I hope to send one a month after the end of summer. I have so many grand ideas, and yet there are so few hours in a day.
I have added new options for astrology consultations and reorganised other services that I offer. My current lead time for email readings is about five days, and for in-person or phone readings, it differs from week to week. This coming week I have space on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
We have the new moon eclipse coming up on Wednesday — there’s a nice trine from Saturn in Aries, and a couple of interesting patterns. Notably, a mystic rectangle and a kite, but neither involves the new moon. Vibe-wise, it’d be a good day for working on self-confidence, willpower, and creative self-expression. Orange or yellow candles for the burn.
Subscribers Only
There are twelve decks for the first draw, which takes place on 23rd September. It's free to subscribe and free to enter, but I am asking that winners cover their own postage. That way I'm not out of pocket, and it means the giveaway isn't limited to the UK, and — honestly — it keeps out anyone just spamming entries hoping for something free. The page isn't locked, so have a look even if you don't want to subscribe.
I was visiting one of my daughters the other day, and she mentioned she’d been gifted a book, and she’d had to put it down because she was at the point of flinging it off the balcony.
“It could just be me, though, mum. You might like it, and I’m maybe just being a dick. I don’t think he knows what he’s on about, and I ain’t getting some of the art.”
As she handed it over, I could see that I quite liked the art style. It was close enough to imagery that I knew I’d enjoy looking at, but I was concerned about the writing. Daughter hadn’t even got a quarter of the way through the book before her irritation had risen high enough to reject the entire thing.
